About

Hi, I’m Suzanne Luna.Welcome to my little corner.

For over two decades I made television. Comedy, mostly, the kind that hopefully made you laugh hard enough to forget, for a moment, that the world is a lot. It was an incredible ride.

Then, about a year and a half ago, my husband suggested I try pottery. He thought I’d be good at it. He was right, which I will admit exactly one time.

I fell for it immediately and completely. You start with nothing, a lump of clay, and then, through some mix of skill and instinct and stubbornness, something exists that didn’t before. That never gets old.

I also hold four black belts, which surprises people. It makes sense to me. The clay doesn’t care how many Emmys you have or how high you can kick. You either know what you’re doing, or you learn. And I love to learn.

Everything here I made by hand, in small batches, in Los Angeles. Some pieces turned out exactly as I imagined. Some surprised me. Many humbled the crap outta me. But something always emerges, with its own shape, its own mood, its own story.

And if it could whisper one thing to you from your shelf, I hope it would be: Luna made me.

Thanks so much for being here. ✦
